ASI Provides Insight into the Changing Landscape of State Taxation and Withholding

Sacramento, CA, October 4, 2012 – Administrative Systems Inc (ASI), the leading provider of retirement plan benefit disbursements, tax reporting, document printing and other related services, announced that they recently led a discussion at the Trust User Group's 33rd National Education Conference focusing on the changing landscape of state taxation and withholding. The session was spearheaded by Suzanne Lytle, an ASI tax expert, who has over 12 years of payment disbursements and retirement taxation experience and holds a Masters in Taxation.

Ms. Lytle presented to TUG attendees the current trends that are causing states to assess changes in their withholding structures in an effort to increase state tax revenue. In addition, Ms. Lytle discussed the recent tax withholding changes for Washington DC and the state of Michigan and showed attendees how a technology solution such as ASI's ASIPay disbursements system can enable them to easily update their system settings to account for any changes in tax rules for all states.

Robert Hickman, CEO of ASI, stated, "There are many complexities surrounding taxation and withholding. At ASI, our tax experts bring their expertise and professional experience in pension and benefit payments to provide our company and our clients with forward looking insight that many companies do not have."

"Keeping up with changing state tax regulations is very challenging. That is why, for someone like me who is involved in payment disbursement, this has proven to be a really useful session. The tax information presented by ASI's tax expert is critical for any organization involved with pension or benefit payments and will really help with our disbursement process," commented a session attendee.

ASI also showcased their ExpressTax solution, which allows clients who currently have a pension or benefit payment processing system in place to easily print and mail their tax forms in a simple 3 step process.

ASI has made Ms. Lytle's presentation and additional tax related resources available on their website at
