New Direction IRA Implements Innovest's InnoTrust Retirement Solutions

New York, NY, March 31, 2015 – Innovest announced today that New Direction IRA has implemented Innovest's Retirement Solutions platform which includes the InnoTrust accounting system, CRM integration and tax reporting and processing services. New Direction IRA is a trusted provider of custodial and administrative services* for retirement accounts and HSAs as well as a thought leader for investor education.

New Direction IRA selected InnoTrust to enhance their already robust, client-centered account portal, myDirection.com. The implementation of InnoTrust allows even more timely account information, true online new account applications, online transaction initiation, online bill payment processing, and automated online collection of rents and other payments into client accounts. This investment in technology allows New Direction IRA to increase its operations efficiency as well as allow 24/7 account access to administrative and banking regulatory oversight. In addition, it positions the IRA provider to easily accommodate large scale jumps in the number of accounts serviced like their 2014 addition of accounts from another provider.

Bill Humphrey, Chief Executive Officer of New Direction IRA, said, "We are at a point in our growth as a company where it made sense to upgrade our trust accounting platform to a system that is built on the best technology available, thus allowing us to better serve our over 10,000 account holders as well as continue to grow both organically and through select acquisitions. Our goal is to take the self-directed experience out of the pen and paper age, to enable our clients to direct their tax advantaged account investments as easily as they do now with their personal financial accounts. InnoTrust is a tremendous move toward that vision."

As part of the implementation, New Direction IRA will also be utilizing Innovest's tax services, allowing the company to outsource the production and mailing of tax forms as well as providing online tax form access to clients. Integration with New Direction IRA's existing Oracle CRM platform was also a successful component of the deployment.

Maryanne Campbell, Innovest's Senior Vice President of Business Development, said, "We are very pleased to continue to serve the retirement account market. Our platform supports functions specific to that business line such as required minimum distribution tracking and processing, contribution limit tracking, in-kind distribution processing, and alternative asset processing. The impressive growth of New Direction IRA is an indication of the prevailing trend amongst investors towards increased self-directed, alternative investments, and we are happy to contribute to that market sustaining its growth."
